Recipes to Warm Your Soul!
A healthy hot chocolate that is deliciously satisfying is what we call our "Self-Care Hot Chocolate", but all three recipes contain our raw coconut oil. Use the milk of your choice as the base, depending on your dietary restrictions or choices, and enjoy this rich treat guilt free knowing you are strengthening your immune system with every sip!
Self-Care Hot Chocolate
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 Tbsp Skinny Coconut Oil
- 1 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp honey
- ½ tsp grated turmeric root
- ¼ tsp vanilla
- ¼ tsp. Ground ginger
- ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
Starting with the milk, pour all ingredients into a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir constantly with a small whisk for approximately 2 minutes. Pour into your favorite mug and enjoy as is, or top as desired.
Next up is a sweet treat that takes less than 10 minutes to prepare, and made extra festive by topping with sprinkles before popping in the fridge to set. No one will ever guess how simple this dessert truly is!
Sweet & Simple Holiday Brownies
- Cooking spray
- 2 3/4 c. chocolate chips
- 1 (14-oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tbsp. heavy cream
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 2 tbsp. Skinny Coconut Oil
- 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp. kosher salt
- 3 tbsp. sprinkles or crushed peppermint candy
Line an 8”-x-8” baking pan with parchment paper and grease with cooking spray. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt chocolate, condensed milk, butter, coconut oil, cream, vanilla, and salt together. Stir until smooth then pour into prepared pan. Top with sprinkles or peppermint bits and refrigerate until set, 2 hours. Cut into squares to serve.

Hearty Holiday Hash
- 2 tablespoons Skinny Coconut Oil
- 1/2 pound fully cooked andouille sausage or chorizo, finely chopped
- 4 cups finely chopped sweet potatoes
- 4 celery ribs, finely chopped
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
In a Dutch oven, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add sausage; cook and stir until browned. Stir in remaining ingredients. Reduce heat to medium-low; cook, uncovered, 15-20 minutes or until potatoes are tender, stirring occasionally.
